Glasshouse Orchard Conservation
The Glasshouse Orchard Conservation Project is working to protect a traditional cider apple orchard in Gloucestershire. The orchard is managed in an entirely organic and traditional manner, to promote diverse flora and fauna. Although the project does not open the orchard generally to the public they do arrange special visits for the likes of childrens wildlife groups, and bird ringing teams. Tribute Enterprise has donated its time towards the project by developing the foundation of the www.glasshouse-orchard.org.uk website and hosting it.
The website allows the project to communicate activity at the orchard and also provide an information resource for those who may be studying or interested in old cider apple orchards and their preservation.
